8:15- 8:30 Arrival time. Children arrive, wash hands, put their lunch and other things in the closet.
8:30- 10:45 Work Time. During work time, children are working independently or in pairs while teachers are giving individual lessons, leading small groups.
10:45- 11 Clean up/ group. Children pack up work and clean classroom, then join a group for a song or story.
11 Line up. Children collect coats, if needed, then line up to go outside.
11- 11:45 Outside time. Children usually take a walk that ends in the playground.
11:45 Line up/ prepare for lunch. Children line up to go in and wash hands.
11:50- 12:20 Lunch. Children unpack and eat lunch. When done they sweep, sponge, and dry their lunch spot before raising their hand to get checked.
12:20- 12:30 Group time. As children get checked, the gather all items, including any work they would like to take home, and join the group for a story or song.
12:30 Dismissal. Children line up and are escorted to the door where they are handed off to their parent or guardian.
12:30- 3 Rest time, extended day work time, and additional outside time.
3 Dismissal for extended day.
