Depending on your child's classroom, outside and lunch may be reversed.
8:30- 8:45 Arrival time. Children arrive, wash hands, put their lunch and other things on their hooks.
8:45- 11:30 Work Time. During work time, children are working independently or in pairs while teachers are giving individual lessons, leading small groups.
11:30- 11:45 Clean up/ group. Children pack up work and clean classroom, then join a group for a song or story.
11:45 Line up. Children collect coats, if needed, then line up to go outside.
11:45- 12:15 Outside time.
12:15 Line up/ prepare for lunch. Children line up to go in and wash hands.
12:15- 12:45 Lunch. Children unpack and eat lunch. When cleaned and packed up, they gather all items, including any work they would like to take home, and read a story or join the group for a story or song.
12:45-1 Dismissal. Children line up and are escorted to the fence where they are handed off to their parent or guardian.
12:45- 3:15 Rest time, extended day work time, and additional outside time.
3:15 Dismissal for extended day.
